Our volunteers can be involved in various roles related to their studies, professions or interests, such as

Orientations and Student Events
(virtual and in-person)

  • Aid in orientation logistics
  • Prepare orientation material
  • Facilitate student groups - Inter-Canada travel may be an option
  • Arrange social and cultural events for students

Volunteer Network

  • Aid in the organization of volunteer events
  • Train new volunteers
  • Participate in webinars and workshops from AFS International volunteer network

Airport Support

  • Greet and support students with arrival or departure logistics
  • Act as hotel chaperone for students with missed connections or flight cancellations
